Philou Louzolo

House artist & producer

Philou Louzolo is a Dutch genre-fusing house artist and producer with Nigerian and Congolese roots, shaping a forward-thinking sound rooted in house, melodic house and techno. His heritage remains a subtle source of rhythm, perspective and identity, while his sound resists easy categorisation.

Inspired by the early Chicago and Detroit founders of electronic music, Philou has always been committed to honouring the values and essence of the foundation they laid. Since 2016, he has been recognised as a pioneer in bridging cultures, communities and club sounds. He became the first Dutch genre-fusing house artist to sell out major headline shows in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, cementing his position with all-night solo performances and marathon sets of up to 15 hours at Thuishaven Amsterdam.

His 2017 breakthrough opened the door to stages including Berghain, Tomorrowland, Fabric, No Art, E1, Awakenings, Loveland, Nuits Sonores, DGTL, Lowlands, Dekmantel, Best Kept Secret and Down The Rabbit Hole. His music has received support from Black Coffee, Dixon, Solomun, Honey Dijon, Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones, Francis Mercier, Damian Lazarus, TSHA and many more.

Through his residencies and own platforms in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, Philou has become a connecting force between different scenes. With Wokoundou, Symfora at Lofi and Philou Louzolo & Friends at Thuishaven, he continues to build spaces where forward-thinking club music, established names and new artists can meet.
